Cave Diving Harness
In the UK we mainly use either a Farrworld, Warmbac, or various other similar designed harness. They give a good centre of gravity and support whilst wearing tanks when caving either to the sump or inbetween sumps.
I already own a few harnesses which were already set up for various styles of diving. Either wet suit, drysuit, open circuit or closed circuit rebreather. So I thought i'd try my hand at constructing my own. Its now become my main harness with weights installed for open circuit dry suit diving.

The waist band needs to be strong yet flexible as that's where the lead goes. Its constructed from double thickness cave bag material with stiff webbing sewn in between both layers. The rest of the webbing forming the shoulders is slightly softer stuff. All the webbing is polypropylene so never rots. The shiny metal D rings are all box stitched in, so really strong. Wing attachments D rings are at the back, then the usual bungees were added. I use 8mm.
