Chest Mount

The chest mount is more or less a copy of the commercially available Triton rebreather.  It started life as a humble dolphin scrubber.  Diluent inject via Drager ADV fitted with a QD.  O2 via hydrogom kiss style.  It uses two counterlungs.  Inhale and exhale which is meant to increase dwell time by slowing down the gas.  Counterlungs made from RF welded PVC.  I used to have mounted in the inhale lung the Narked @ 90 Apoc cell pod, but it was way too bulky.  The inhale bag is quite big, but once various fittings are added this does reduce volume.  Now I have a P port with cell stick plugged into a cage from Tecme.  Monitoring is via Tecme's PPo2 monitor.  DSV and hoses off an Inspo.  Breathes well.  Outer bag in day glow yellow (see more details of the bag itself here).  Not ninja black, and not camouflage either.  At least you will see me underwater.
