Cartwinder - Sidemount Rebreather

Scrubbers and head (with cell pod) were made by a friend for me.  The cell pod is a work of art and testament to the skill of a Bristol based caver.  I just added gas feeds and made a unique looking counterlung.  Getting the counterlung shape and size right isnt as straight forward as it might seem.  The counterlung has an inner bladder and connects to each scrubber via Drager P ports.  The outer material of the lung is made from 1000 denier Cordura.  All of which is loosely modelled on the principals of the Kiss Sidewinder.  Diluent is added to the inhale scrubber via a MAV.  O2 via Hydrogom Kiss valve into the bottom of the exhale scrubber.  O2 then has to pass the bridging counterlung, into the inhale scrubber.  This mixes everything up nicely - I hope.  The O2 supply is from a 1.5 litre cylinder mounted on the bottom of the transpac harness.  On the waist strap are fixed D rings to clip sidemount bailout and diluent cylinders to.  Then held in place at ones side via bungees.

DSV is a off an inspo.  Hoses off a Kiss, but with adapters.  A right mismatch.  There is an OPV fitted to the base of the exhale scrubber with adjustable cracking pressure.  The head of the inhale scrubber has a cell pod fitted to accept 3 cells.  I would like to fit in future an ADV, but choices are limited.

Setting up the scrubber leashes is a pain, but after some trial and error I have got them dialled in.
