Pendulum

The scrubber was made by a friend.  I just added gas feeds and a chest worn counterlung.  Operates all manually for simplicity, i.e. manual diluent injection via drysuit button fitted to the counterlung and o2 via the Hydrogom.  The single lung is worn across the chest.  The internal bladder is an early Sump UK prototype wing.  As it was only single skin I made a cover from 1000D cordura and slapped on an old Buddy pocket for that retro look.  The pocket also acts as a handy place to stick ones PPo2 monitor when not being worn.  I mainly dive this unit as a pure o2 unit for shallow faffing around, but is ideal for shallow UK sump diving giving you tons of time, by which time your freezing cold anyway.  The counterlung is now fitted with dual gas inlet connections, o2 and diluent.  o2 connection is on a free flow connection (i.e. you dont press a drysuit style button to squirt gas), this is done by the hydrogom valve.

The pictures show it in various stages of its evolution.  But I've now opted to wear the scrubber separate to the o2 tank.  I mount the o2 tank on my right, sidemount style and use bungee to wrap around the valve to pull everything in.  The scrubber is worn on my left, clipped off to a D ring at the upper end, and held close to body with a velcro wrap through harness loop, then around diameter of scrubber.  The base of the scrubber connects to a P port on the lung.
